Effects of Age

My photographic process was to find pictures of old looking things. I wanted everything to look very worn and rusted. I was also looking for specific old abandond cars.  My favorite photo would be the won of the old 1940's looking white bug car because it looked abandond and it was sitting right in front of the bridge which was a nice background.

Portraits

My photographic process was to try and be creative. I wanted everything to look fun and bright. I tried to use a few props to make the photos interesting.
My favorite photo is the one with the blow drier and the rolling brush because it's different. I think it's fun looking. It's a 10/10.

Lighthouse photos self evalutation

Photographic Process
My photographic process was first to go each day at different times.  The next focus I had was to try to get photos with something in the background such as the bridge, a bird, the show boat, and people driving boats. The next thing I did was made sure I took photos in every possible angle. I would lie on the ground and take a photo shooting upwards or I would go to the right or left and take a photo and other times I would just walk while I continued to shoot just to see what I could get. My method was to basically have fun with it and try different things.
My favorite photo would be the one above because I think it’s beautiful and it actually shows a lot of background detail. I like the way the photo is at a bit of a left angle and it’s also low enough so you can see the rocks leading up to the lighthouse. If you look closely you can also see a person driving their boat and a ripple in the water following behind. You can also see the start of the bridge at the far right. Not only that but you can see the orange sunset peaking out behind the bushes. I would give this photo a ten out of ten.

Principles

My photographic process when taking these photos was to find things that I like that represent variety.  Every photo in the assignment is something I see every day. I wanted to take random things and photograph them.

All of these photos represent variety.

My favorite photo is the photo of the dance shoes. I like the way the light pink pops out amongst all of the black and white in the background. I also like this photo because all of these shoes have been used by me and I’ve kept them from the time I was 5 until now. I would give that photo a 10.
This photo represents line because there is a line drawn from the pencil and the pencil is also a line.

This photo represents form because it has a 3 dimensional shape.

This photo represents value because you can see the lighting on the photo goes from light to dark.
This photo represents shape because the photo has a specific flat design.

This photo represents color because there are tons of colorful stuffed animals.

This photo represents texture because you can tell by looking at it that if you touched the object you would feel something soft and fluffy.

This photo also represents value because it goes from like to dark throughout the photo.

This photo represents form because it has an obvious 3 dimensional shape.

This represents shape because it has a flat design.

This photo represents color because it has many different colors throughout the picture.

My photographic process for taking these pictures were to just go over the definitions. I looked at the definitions and the put together a scene where I thought that definition would be represented. I tried to take photos that clearly made sense and completely matched the definition.

My favorite photo is the stuffed animals because I think it’s so cute and goes with the definition perfectly. To take this picture I just put my whole stuffed animal collection on top of a hot pink blanket in a cheetah chair in front of my pink curtains. I think it’s very colorful and has a lot to look at. This photo represents a lot of character also because every one of those stuffed animals was given to me from someone else for something and the blanket under them was hand made by my grandma.  I think this photo is creative. I would give it a ten out of ten.
